We are seeing an increase in reports of scam calls from people claiming to be the POLICE and asking for payments.

Please remember: THE POLICE WILL NEVER CALL YOU AND ASK YOU TO MAKE A PAYMENT. 👮‍♀️❌💷

If you receive a call like this, STOP, HANG UP and don’t provide any personal or financial information. Scammers can sound convincing and may already have some of your details.

Please take a moment to speak to your family, friends and neighbours about this — particularly anyone who may be more vulnerable to these types of scams.

If it doesn’t feel right, stop and check. 🛑
